Biography:
Named to the all-state and all-Bay Valley Conference first teams after leading Santa Rosa Junior College to a school-record 29 wins against only three setbacks. Averaged 12 points and 14 rebounds per game as a sophomore for SRJC, where he was coached by former Arizona Wildcat Craig McMillian. Led the state in rebounding as a sophomore. Also a threat as a shot-blocker. Runner-up for state player of the year. High School: A two-time all-Sonoma County League selection at Analy High School for coach Roger Wilson. Averaged 10 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks per game as a senior. Selected to play for the Sonoma County All-Stars and led the team to a 97-87 victory over the Humboldt-Del Norte All-Stars by scoring 13 points with 14 rebounds. Also lettered in football.
